It just occurred to me that Castiel doesn’t need to tell the other angels that Dean is dead. Metatron confessed to killing Dean while he was unknowingly on Angel Radio. Castiel, along with every other angel who was tuning in at the time, heard the news.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a pillow to cry into.
